Pet Sitters & Boarding Professionals Academy content teaches non-clinical pet care and boarding operations — intake and care plans, daily care, medication handoff, handling, group-play supervision, housing, sanitation, dog walking and transport, keys and security, emergencies, and business operations. It provides education only and confers no licensure or credential. It is not veterinary care: it does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend or change medications, make treatment decisions, or perform invasive procedures. Medication is strictly instruction-following — follow written owner or veterinary instructions exactly, document administration, recognise problems, and escalate; never prescribe, change a dose or timing, skip or stop medication, substitute products, or treat an adverse reaction, and never improvise. Suspected illness, injury, pain, breathing difficulty, collapse, seizure, poisoning, severe vomiting or diarrhea, medication problems, distress, or other medical concerns must be escalated or referred to a veterinarian per the care plan. It is not behavior treatment: observation and group-play screening are in scope, but behavior diagnosis, modification, and high-risk cases such as aggression, severe fear, resource guarding, or escape risk are referred to qualified behavior professionals and the Trainers & Behavior Specialists Academy, and where appropriate a veterinary behaviorist. Group play is supervised and screened, never guaranteed risk-free; keys, access, client data, and privacy must be protected and incidents reported promptly; and this academy provides no legal advice or security guarantee and guarantees no safety, health, or behavior outcome. Follow sanitation, biosecurity, and safety practices, and remain responsible for the local laws, licensing, insurance, bonding, vaccination, animal-to-staff ratio, and transport requirements of your jurisdiction. Species-specific husbandry and clinical education is taught in the Animal Academies.
